Group Sessions
TLC's group classes offer
the unique opportunity for you and your dog to interact with others
while learning. Groups are made up of individuals at various knowledge
and performance levels, allowing you to learn from others and help
others to learn. You and your dog will learn and advance at a pace that
is right for you. You are a beginner only on your first day of class...
you are continuing thereafter.
Classes are limited to
five or six dogs, which allows for individual attention from the
trainer. It is understood that each dog has a unique personality and
individual challenges. Therefore participants advance at their own
pace, without the pressure to perform at a specific level within a
given time period. This approach makes learning fun and further
strengthens the bond with your dog. Questions are encouraged during
class!

to learn how to play together as a team. You and your pet will learn
the correct way to use all the equipment. It is all positive and simply
fun - no pressure. Puppy, adult and senior dogs are welcome.
Sassy Classes
- 4 week course
- Teach your dog to
overcome their fears of other dogs (when your dog growls/snaps/lunges
at other dogs when on or off leash.)
Flyball
- Flyball is all about
having fun! It's great for high-energy dogs and dogs that love playing
ball. This sport is a fast, loud sport. There are four hurdles in a row
with the flyball box at the end. Each team has four dogs. Two teams
race at the same time. Dogs are taught to pass each other. When the dog
gets to the flyball, he or she is trained to hit the box, get the ball,
and race back. TLC just started a team in this area, and is looking for
another team to play.
Clicker Training
- 4 week course
- Have fun while
learning obedience or having your dog complete a task of some kind.
- Clicker is used to
mark the desired behavior.
CPR for Dogs
- Do you really know
what to do if your pet stops breathing? This 4 week course teaches
hands-on, life-saving techniques we hope you never have to use! You
will learn first aid and CPR for pets.
Rally Obedience
- Have fun learning
obedience with your pet. You are always moving, thinking and doing, and
work as a team. Always positive. No class is the same. We welcome all
ages of dogs.
